The Food Craft Institute is located in the Campus of the renowned Central University of India, known as Aligarh Muslim University. The Institute had been set up under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in 1984, as an autonomous institute registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 and is governed by an Executive Body ‘Board of Governor’s which consists of the representatives of the Central Government, State Government, and Aligarh Muslim University.
